• Implementation of Stakeholder Feedback Sessions held in 2020 -2021 to gather feedback about what various stakeholders thought should be included in the goals and objectives for the school's comprehensive plan.

• Analysis and inclusion of school survey data, including climate and safety surveys,  into the feedback

• Analysis and incorporation of School and Division data to assist in the development of goals and objectives.

• Incorporation of feedback provided through the Superintendent's Staff Advisory Committee, Superintendent Student Advisory Committee, and Superintendent Family-Community Advisory Committee during the 2022-2023 school year

• Alignment of stakeholder feedback and school/division data to develop targeted goals and 

• Inclusion of additional information collected from feedback sessions that were held with the division-level cabinet team, Superintendent Staff Advisory Committee, and Superintendent Family-Community Advisory Committee in the Fall of 2023. 

• Provision of opportunities for more community feedback through the posting of the NCPS Pathways to Success 2023-2029 with Feedback Form on the NCPS website, as well as hard copies of the plan and feedback forms made available at the Nelson Heritage Center, Nelson Center, Nelson Memorial Library, Rockfish Valley Community Center, and NCPS Central Office.

Nelson County Public Schools is seeking feedback on the draft form of the NCPS Pathways to Success 2023-2029. This is a draft of the division comprehensive plan which includes the goals and objectives for the school division over the next six (6) years.  These goals and objectives have been developed from initial stakeholder meetings and organized by a theme.  We continue to encourage our staff, students, families, and community to provide feedback as we look to finalize the comprehensive plan.
