Students, faculty and staff celebrated Kindness Month throughout the month of October. Orange was worn by many to celebrate Unity Day. We also decorated a "kindness tree" with leaves filled out by teachers with kind gestures done by students. These kind acts were announced each morning and added to the tree in the hallway for all to read. Students also created "kindness pumpkins" in which they wrote about different ways they show kindness. Kindness Month ended with ROCK-kindness and PUMP-kindness in which students painted a small pumpkin or rock to represent their definition of kindness. We sure have some kind tigers here at TRES!
